Hello, new poster, Awakening purpose? (Sorry, wrong term)

I've started doing reality checks almost every ten minutes for about 3 days now. Each are fairly thorough: a Logic Test, text changing, finger through hand ect. I finally recalled a dream last night. I was Lumburgh from Office Space, but I was happy and people liked me, so I realized I was probably in a dream. The next thing I remember is I'm in bed, my eyes are closed and I was trying to put my finger through my hand. I remember that I wasn't freaking out or anything, just a normal mood. I wasn't aggravated or anything. Can someone help me pinpoint why I woke up so I can work on it?

are u saying u tried the RC while ur eyes were closed in bed? or in the dream or in an FA? or were u awake? if u knew u were in a dream at the time thats a lucid. did you make mention of any TPS reports in the dream? :lol: :lol:

What I think happened was I asleep dreaming, then I wok up before I could try a reality check, like my hands were moving after I woke up, kinda. I'm sorry, I don't know what TPS reports all. I guess technically it was a lucid, but I had no chance to practice staying that way. :mad:
