Hi! I'm new... I think I'm in the right place...

Hello,
I LD! Well, I am pretty sure its lucid dreaming... I don't know what else to call them.

I have had sleep paralysis regularly for about 15 years now. I have had 1000s of episodes and I have learned to leave my body through sleep paralysis. Now, most people will assume that I am actually astral projecting but I have tested it and every test has failed. I know its not OBE because the realities are completly different. I feel like I can only define these OBEs as lucid dreaming.

When I LD I can feel just like I do in this reality. Sight takes a minute to kick in, usually I will start out by leaving my body then blindly walk out of my window and wait outside for my sight to kick in. Sometimes I hear music, and I dance! I dance a lot in my LDs! :D I cannot recall hearing anything else. Even voices seem to be telepathic.

Theres too much to talk about... hopefully I can make some friends here that I can share with. Most people look at me like I am crazy when I talk about this stuff! :eek: I probably am!

You could be having LDs or OBEs or both. Some people don't believe in OBEs, some believe they are the same as LDs.

But if you base your assumption that they are not OBEs just because the realities are different, I would recommend you check out some websites about this. From what I have read (and I'm not claiming what I have read is the truth), only one plane, the one closest to out physical plane is similar to our physical worlds, but not identical. Rest of the astral planes are much different.

I always heard that you could look back and see your physical body when you have an OBE. I used to look for my body but I have never seen it. I will look around and read more about OBEs. Thanks for the info! :)
