New(ish) member
I have been a member of this forum for over a year now, and have hardly visited the site.
Never really put in much of an opinion, or read too many posts.
I have done this intentionally, as my mind is so full of ideas, and dream experiences that I could get stuck on here for hours at a time.
But lately my life has filled up with unusual events, and I have found myself drawn back to this forum.
Most people I know, would think I was a little nutty, if I told them of my experiences.
I am here to find answers, and help others with with their questions.
Hope this works out.
Phil

Thanks for coming back to DV! I understand why you took a break, but at the same time, am glad you're back.
You shouldn't have to worry about being considered nutty or weird here. We're pretty open to new ideas and whatnot.

Welcome back Phil :happyme:
I think most of us here have had our fair share of weird looks from people when we talk about our experiences. Haha. Rest assured everyone is always welcome here! They may call us crazy, but remember that the wise oak is the old nut that stood its ground.
Okay I have no idea why I even said that, it just crossed my mind x)
I hope to see you around more, happy dreaming!

Welcome back! Look forward to reading your experiences! :)

Sorry about going back into an old thread to ask a simple question.
But, What are likes ?
I see them under members avatars.
Please explain ?
-
^ At the bottom of each post in the right hand corner is a little blue link that says Like - if you dig a post just clck that link and the person gets a Like. When somebody likes your post you'll get a notification - the word Noifications across the top of the page will turn red and show the number of new likes and/or personal messages when you hover over it. Click on it to go to your Control Panel page and from there click on the Likes Recived link under your avatar to see who liked your post and which one it was. At any time you can go into your control panel and check on things like this - or look at your recent posts or whatever. I just Liked your post so you can see what I mean.
DV is a social network site - if you find a cetain person Likes a lot of your posts or you like a lot of theirs you should probably friend them to make it easy to connect with them and keep track of them.

Thanks for the quick reply,

I suspect that a completely normal person would be very uncomfortable on this site. :) however, maybe they would fit right in after all because crazy is normal, and therefore normal is crazy, so the more normal a person the weirder they are.

I have found that the more I find out, the less I know.
Lots of the crap taught in schools is wrong, or just guesswork.
But that is another topic for another time
