am i close

I have been trying to have a lucid dream for the past 2 weeks,I am trying with the mild and wbtb technique together.I keep a dream journal.Recently I have been having dreams about lucid dreaming like: my friends tell me that I am dreaming,but I don't believe them,one time I woke up in my dream and I was upset that I did not remember to lucid dream,but then my mom tells me that I am going to get better at it.Then I go back to sleep and wake up(real life) I am just wondering is it sign that I am close to lucid dreaming.
