Intro and info

Hi, I just registered here.

I'm a little farther along than some of you in your dreaming, I would like to tell you what I have done, and I would like to learn what's possible for me to do later.

Most notably, I've had dream streaks, where I can recall at least one dream each night, for quite a few weeks. Beginning in 2004, I went for five weeks in a row, and beginning this year, I went for eight weeks in a row. More than one dream has been lucid, and I tend to think the more vivid and lucid a dream is, the more it should apply to you, if analyzed.

I stopped counting after the dream streak ended this year, and decided to instead count how many nights I cannot recall at least something from a dream. I have recently considered sleeping less (not getting as much REM), but through the first half of the year, only 8 nights occured when I could not recall dreaming. Most of it was due to lack of sleep from stress or from being sick.

I have had one OBE, although I did not realize it until after it was over (I stood in the same spot for two or three seconds). Further, I've had a lot of odd things happen after waking up. I will probably discuss this more when I start different threads.

The reason I signed up here is because I believe anything is possible (not just in dreams). I think dreaming represents a more aware state for a person, therefore it is more powerful. I want to know exactly what is possible in dreaming, and I want to explore what can be done (although how is not as important, but may help).

Are you sure it was an OBE?

I can also recall a dream every night. I usually suceed in some form of lucidity atleast once a week.

I have had some lucid dreams. I'm tempted to post the most vivid one I've had, because I felt like it was so accurate.

Regarding the OBE:
I was standing facing my closet, about four feet away from the bed where I slept. I was facing away from my body. There was an indigo glow around the closet, in an egg-shaped fashion. It seemed as if the glow was coming from around me.

I did feel an odd energetic body too. I felt like I was more aware, since it seemed as time was slowed down.

Also, I heard a ringing in my ears, as I do when I go to sleep sometimes. It was the same high pitched frequency, except in the OBE it was slowed down, sounded like it was pulsing. It went "iiiiiiiiiing..................................... ..............iiiiiiiiiing........................ ..........................." as if the amplitude was fading in and out.

Sounds like you had a very interesting dream! I think you were seriously close to having a WILD!
