Well here it goes
Hi everyone,
My name is Ryan and I am 21, currently attending university. I am on my third year which incorporates working for a company for a year. This is how I started to research into LD and wondering what it would be like.
I have decided to make it official and embrace the idea of the great community of LDers.
I had my first LD couple of days back after researching extensively and how to induce the phenomenon and I posted it here on the forum as I was excited/scared/[any other applicable emotion here].
I have already managed to get some fantastic help from the community, both in PM's and on the forum.
The community here is astounding; I posted my LD experience on another forum and it did not get as much attention and help as I did here. I would like to say thank you for all your help trying to make sense of the LD I experienced and helping me cope with my fears of attempting to try it again.
I am still a little freaked out by LD'ing but I hope to overcome this fear soon, as to me it seems a little weird, but at the same time I am intrigued by it and I want to understand it more.
Once again, thank you for all your help, and I can't wait to embrace the journey with you all.
Ryan

Welcome to DV Ryan. Your right, DV rules!
I haven't seen your post with your LD but I'll certainly check it out.
No reason to be freaked out, LD's are what you make them, hope to hear more of your lucids ASAP :).

Welcome to Dreamviews Ryan!
Glad you have already posted and even gotten help. This community really is unique as to size, activity and friendliness of members. Keep posting and stay active - the best way to stay motivated to get more awesome LDs. If you have not found it yet, check out the DV Academy, where you can join any class of you preference. Happy dreams:alien:
