Heeeeellooo!
Hi there!
My name's Paulina, I'm from Poland and it's nice to meet you all! :shadewink:
I heard about LD long, long time ago. I wanted to learn it so muuuch, but it's harder than I thought. I've been trying for two years now and had only 3 LDs. Well, better 3 than none, but I want more. It's such a funny feeling. :D Maybe I can't have more, 'cause I'm always stressed, even in dreams. Who knows.
Anyway, I came here, because you seemed supportive and softy (don't ruin it :shadewink: ), forum is nice and there's sooo much info.
I got link to the forum from my Beloved. He doesn't remember, if he's registered, though.
I'm interested in psychology, drawing, singing, paranormal things, esotericism, conspiracy theories, psychiatry (more into patients' points of view and their feelings about their state, etc.), genetics, history, philosophy... ahah. Many things. Too many.
I'm not really hyperactive. xP It just seems like that. Usually I'm depressed. And grumpy, but in my head only. I dislike talking about my feelings and deep thoughts.
I like watching movies. Sometimes anime. And I reeeaaaally like music.
Well, I guess it's all.
(:

Welcome to DV Paulina :)
Stress is a big recall killer, how many dreams do you usually recall in the morning? What you need to do is to improve your recall first of all, to atleast 1 dream a night. The downside with lucid dreaming is that it takes quite alot of practice and dedication. You need to put effort into it and really look forward to achieving lucidity.
If you're wondering about something, feel free to ask. Us Dream Guides are here to help.

Welcome Send aka Paulina you just described the characteristics of my dreamgirl...
Haha my intention is not to make you uncomfortable just to let you know that your a really cool person and that people like you give me hope ^-^
Anyway you're definitely in the right place, this forum can help you attain information in a few days or weeks that usually would take months or years to find out on your own.
Stress for example, I know that if I go to bed stressed my chance of lucidity is very low and now when I think about it, I can't even remember one single time of me having a lucid dream after going to bed stressed. I am always doing some stress reduce meditation before sleep and tell myself that nothing will disturb my night in order to get peaceful sleep that in turn will give peaceful dreams, that is easier to become aware of.
So think about the way you fall asleep. :)
I usually write walls of text all over the place on this forum and I have some useful entries in my dream journal as well, and the other Dream Guides and members of the forum can help you will all of your problems as well.
So I am sure that you will progress in no time. Sweet dreams :sleepmeditate2:

:welcome: Paulina!
You should get restarted with a dream journal, that can give you a push when it comes to lucidity :3 Is there any technique you are particularly interested in?

Sorry for not answering. I was sleeping. ^ ^'
Matte87,
I usually remember my dreams. At least one. But I have problem with them being mixed up. I'm never sure if part A was from first or second dream, etc.
I really want LD, so I'll be trying as much as I can!
Thank you. c:
Aw, MasterMind. It's nice. Don't worry, there are a lot of people who are as cool as me. ;3 But remember - every rose has its thorn.
Hmmm. The thing is, I can be happy and relaxed (I'm also meditating - it's very helpful!) while going to the bed, but my dreams still will be scary. In the scariest ones I became aware of being in 'sleep mode', which is funny. I was terrified and thought "god, it must be dream... oh... IT IS O.o". I fight all this stress.
Dream Journals are great. I will read your entries!
Paigeyemps, I'm gonna keep dream journal. Thanks. :3 Technique... well, I think WILD and VILD are my favs. And I hate WBTB.

Ah, that's exactly how I learned how to lucid dream, I had a nightmare and realized I was dreaming. Use it to your advantage! Train yourself to do an RC every time you get scared.
