Hello, people!
I am Anton, a computer programmer from Russia.
I have been studying this subject for some months and made several attempts to attain lucidity during the dream. Some of them were lucky.
I've read Stephen Laberge books, so I am a proponent of scientific approach to LD (no astral, no shared dreams etc), but I think that if some useful techniques are come from esoteric sourses there is no harm to use it.
My first LD was right after the first reading of Laberge's "Lucid Dreaming: The power of being aware and awake in your dreams". May be I was so impressed by the new information and it made me have my lucid at once. It was not very specific, I did not know how to prolong LD or how to do something really useful etc, so I just walked through the street noticing how bright everything is.
After it I began to log my dream diary to improve dream recollection and also tried to develop my prospective memory (by hitting targets) in order to tame the MILD technique . It is kind of hard to hit all the targets but I do my best to do it.
One more LD-related thing I practise is Dual N-back working memory training.
Some sources provide information that Dual N-back can be useful for Lucid Dreamer (supposedly, better dream recall and better critical reasoning)
Nowadays many people are interested in LD, so I decided to find some Internet community to communicate with such people. This resourse is the best for its attendance etc
