Hey hey, new guy!
Hey everyone, I finally got an account after a couple of days of poking around. I've had what I think are a few semi lucid dreams (if that's a thing) in my attempts at Astral Projection. That is my end goal, but in reading I found that lucid dreaming is a great way to make that phase and I'm certainly interested in both! Has anybody else had in experience with this? Also any info on some of the best beginner techniques, I realize there are tons of threads about them but some get super in depth right away. Anyway thanks in advance and nice to semi meet everyone lol.

Well, well WELCOME. Also, seems like if you want to astral project then you might be interested in the WILD technique although there are MANY WILD threads I'd recommend Sageous' WILD sessions: WILD (Sageous) , good read if you're interested in WILDing. And, I recommend WILD because during a WILD you know once you've reached sleep paralysis you could do the whole pulling yourself out of your body thing with a rope or whatever and you'll be astral projecting before you know it. BUT besides WILD, I'd say just really, REALLY, keep a dream journal, it's crucial when starting off. And uhh just when you wake up give yourself a few minutes to recall whatever dreams you had and be sure to write those down. SO YEA good luck in your quest. :D

Hello there, welcome to DV!
What kraom said ^^
Well, tbh, it would be hard to identify "beginner techniques" since many people are just better at some techniques than others. But if WILD is a bit challenging for you (especially if you're just starting out), then I recommend MILD or any DILD techniques. Check out http://www.dreamviews.com/introducti...-dreaming.html for the basic info as well as links to tutorials
You might also enjoy the Beyond Dreaming section of the forum, where they have plenty of Astral Projection discussions. Feel free to look around there or start up a thread! Seeya
