Hello!

Hi everyone! I just made an account here so I thought I would take a second to introduce myself.

My name is Maggie and I'm 17 years old.

A few weeks ago I had my first lucid dream, and ever since then I've been trying to have another. It was such an incredible experience even though after researching lucid dreams a little bit I think my lucid dream might not have actually been a "real" lucid dream (I realized I was dreaming after performing a reality check, but then I was unable to fly when I tried).

Anyways, since then I have been learning all that I can about lucid dreaming, which is how I found this site. I hope to learn more about lucid dreaming and hopefully experience another/my first lucid dream!

Welcome to the site. And that definitely was a lucid dream if you realized you were dreaming. You probably couldn't fly just because you don't have great dream control yet. I know my first lucid dream was pretty much, "OH I'm dreaming." And then I woke up. Anyways, good luck and if you have any questions, just ask! :D

Thanks! So far the site has been really helpful. There is so much information out there! And that's nice to know it was a lucid dream. It was so frustrating not being able to fly, though. Especially because once I told the people in my dream that it was a dream, they all began to fly, and I was the only one who couldn't, haha :)

Ahaha, well for the longest time in my lucid dreams all my DC's ran away from me in panic. Made it really hard to have a conversation with one of them.. -_-

They were really annoying, Darkmatters! They kept flying right above me as I just jumped up and down like an idiot lol

That is a hilarious image, and I feel your pain. But now that you've discovered DV you'll soon be able to make it rain on all of them while you drift lazily above the clouds. Or whatever else you want to do. :rockon:

Hey GavinGill, I think you're pretty awesome, too! And I definitely plan on sticking around for a while. I'll check out the off-topic sections ASAP, because of course I want to be cool. Actually, scratch that. I already am cool so thank you for informing me where I belong :shadewink:
