Hello
Hello
My name is Karol, I'm 23 year's old and I'm from Poland. English isn't my native language so, please forgive my mistakes. I hope You will be able to understand me :)
First time I hear about lucid dream was five years ago, or something like that. Since then I have a lot of lucid dream's but still I'm not able to fully control it so I want to work on it but my last lucid dream was a few months ago so I need get back to "shape". Somehow I can't mobilize myself to remember dream's and to writing it in dream's diary. Maybe being here and talking about lucid dreams with you will help me more often think about it. Anything you want to know more about me ? Just ask.

Welcome Abel! Flad to see you've already filled out your profile and found an avie
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
H, and while it is a good idea to write in a DJ, just being active here helps me get lucids. When I have been gone a few times, i was lucid way less often.

I would highly recommend the use of a DJ. I just recently starting keeping one in the past two weeks. Before that, I honestly couldn't tell you the last time that I remembered a dream. The first week I didn't notice much progress, but this week I have remembered at least one dream per night, and last night I remembered 2 for the first time. Hang in there!

Yes, I know that DJ is good way to lucid dreaming and I agree with that in 100% but the thing is that even if I remember any dreams after I woke up and before I manage to open my eyes wide enought to see where my netbook is , I forget halt of it. But as I sad I'm working on it. I'm determined to get back to lucid dreaming.
And I'm starting to like this forum. I find a lot of interesting topics here.

I am having this problem to. The moment that I move when I wake up and remember a dream, it's as if I'm trying to hold water in my hands! It all just slips through the cracks. I'm trying to practice remaining perfectly still when I wake up and set the dream firmly in my brain before I get up to record it.
Anyway, it was nice to meet you and good luck!

Welcome to DreamViews, Karol!
My advice would be to keep up your DJ. Even when you dont remember any dreams, you can write down "no dreams recalled today" or something similar. The more you intend to do it, the more your subconscious will get the hint that recalling your dreams is important, therefore it will help you remember them. Also, you can do some mantras before bed like "my dreams are vivid" or "i remember my dreams". Autosuggestion can work wonders!
Good luck, and feel free to share your ideas or ask any questions you have in mind :)
