Any tips on how to use it would be nice as well, my sleep sced is off so right now I go to sleep around 5-6 in the morning. I'm going to try WBTB and and wild. Should I do it in a dark room? or is it okay if I do it with daylight? I have the Lucid Dreamer supplement from dreamamins 4mg Galatamine/200mg Choline.
Well I would think that if you are worried about taking it then maybe take some during the day and see how it affects you. Maybe even open the capsule and take just a little. Of course, then you should wait at least 4 days before you take it for dream time. The waiting period is just to make sure you don't build a tolerance to it. The time is takes to clear Galantamine out of your system is 2 day and the general rule is to wait twice the time it takes for elimination. I limit myself to one night every seven days to be on the safe side. Plus I don't want all my LDs to come from Galantamine.
It's recommended that you learn to induce lucid dreams on your own before using Galantamine but of course that's up to you. The reasoning behind that is that G is in no way a magic lucid pill. You can fail if you don't know how to have lucid dreams already.
I would try to make the room as dark as possible. A cheap fix to that, though it looks tacky, would be to tape some tin foil over your windows. Galantamine, especially in the beginning, can and will cause you to sleep very lightly and possibly have some mild to severe insomnia. I would make sure you have plenty of time to sleep late without any distraction. And yes WBTB is the best. I take mine usually after 4 hours sleep.
The dreamamins stuff is good. I bought the Pro-Galantamine just so that I could add my own doses of choline. Really I think the 200MG Choline is fine. Mine is 250MG but that's the brand I bought. Also If you can get some Alpha-GPC that will help give you some extended play. It has a longer half-life elimination than choline but the choline peeks faster than GPC. So really the two together are super effective at raising your acetylcholine quickly and is a long lasting combo. In case you don't know, Galantamine keeps your body from using acetylcholine up as fast. Acetylcholine is what helps your brain dream so, the Galantamine, Choline, and GPC combo really puts your brain into massive overdrive for dreaming.
Also, it's a good idea to take a REM suppressant at the beginning of the night. 5-HTP is the best but maybe you can try melatonin. Just go easy on the melatonin at WBTB. It can hurt your success. 0.5MG is the max! I started taking a high dose of Valerian Root and that seems to work just fine. Also you may want to try L-Theanine.
Just to be thorough my usual dose is as follows. 100MG 5-htp prebed. Then at WBTB, 4MG Galantamine, 250MG Choline, 300MG GPC, 6 Pills Valerian Root.
I know that's a lot of stuff for you. I hope I covered enough of the basics to get you going. By the way, I got all my information from this book Advanced Lucid Dreaming: The Power of Supplements and my own experiments.
I think your dose of 4MG G and 200MG Choline is a good start but you may want to consider getting the other stuff to really maximize your success. But really, I would go with what you got and see how it goes. And don't forget your favorite induction technique! Good luck!
