Trouble Lucid Dreaming
I have had four dreams the past four nights and in each one I was told I was dreaming but did not become lucid. Last night I had a dream about lucid dreaming, I was having a lucid dream but had no control over it (if u can make since from that). I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming I have a dream journal and I do often reality checks. Any Advise?

:welcome:
How did you learn of lucid dreaming and how long have you been trying? If you dream recall is improving and you had a lucid dream in just 4 nights, that's very good progress! It's common to become lucid without a feeling of control. As you get more lucid dreams under your belt, you will experience a wide variety of control, lucidity, and vividness.
The best advice I can give is to be curious, remain committed, treat everything as a learning experience, and enjoy your dreams. For more practical advice, the people and resources here on DreamViews are the best you can find.

Hi TheDreamLife! Welcome :D
Whatever you've been doing you seem to be on track. Dreaming about lucid dreaming is actually a good sign. At least its on your mind enough to come forward in your dreams. While a dream journal and reality checks are a essential you might want to find an induction style. One thing you can do if you haven't already is look for dream signs in you past dreams so that you can recognize them when you dream about them later.
You can start reading in DV Academy or search some tutorials. If there is a specific question you have we can answer it here. It just sounds like you need to go over the basics and find your dreaming style.
Best of luck to you!

Welcome to the forum!
Xanous gave you a great reply above. Lucid dreaming has a tendency to creep up on some people and the appearances of lucid dreaming thoughts in your dreams is good progress.
When I started at this site I found that the more I read the posts on the forum the more often I had lucid dreams or extremely vivid dreams. I feel that the more you are exposed to this material the more likely it is you will eventually have a lucid dream.
This guide is always a good place to start: http://www.dreamviews.com/introducti...-dreaming.html
Pleasant dreams!
