:welcome: I'll try to answer some things for you. Billyboy has got it right but let me add my perspective here.

Dreams are often random and weird. But sometimes, this is a good thing. Will I lose the ability to have random things happen in my dream while LD'ing?
HEHEH I think you will find a lot more random and weird dreams once you begin having lucids, or really, just paying attention and building recall. I know I have. Things can become extremely trippy.

I don't always appear in my own dream. It's like I am watching a movie. Is it possible for those kind of dreams to become Lucid?
Yes. Anything can trigger a lucid dream. Though I've never had one from a third person perspective that I can recall.

What is Lucid Dreaming actually like? Is it like, a virual reality world? How real does it feel?
It can feel as real as real life or It can feel like some other world place where your senses are dulled. Or certain senses can appear to be heighten and more intense. Sometimes its like being on some strange and exotic drug. Either way you feel present and the experience is like it is really happening. It's really hard to explain and I think each person is different.

Does dream recall become easier? I seem to get better at it, but it still takes a fair bit of effort and I lose the dreams if I forget to write them down.
Save for a few naturals, recall is a skill you build like lucid dreaming. However, sometimes you will recall a ton of dreams and some times you won't. Well at least most of us are that way I think. Really it depends on how hard you work at it and how consistent you are in your practices.

Does LD'ing reduce the night rest I get? Since my mind is still working while I sleep.....
And I am already taking B-6 since I have trouble falling asleep.
If you do wake back to bed (wbtb) you can wear yourself out. But being lucid and dreaming you are just asleep like normal.
