      "Seven? I'm sleeping."

      Hello. *waves*

      I just found this forum from the depths of internet and well, here I am writing an introduction. Man I suck at this kind of stuff.
      I first heard about lucid dreaming four or five years ago. Since I've always had vivid, detailed dreams and 2-3 dreams a night, I wanted to give it a try. I started with reality checks (pushing my hand through a wall) and writing dream journal, but I only had one sort of semi-lucid dream, so I quickly forgot about this stuff.

      Well, about three days ago from now I decided to take a nap and half awake - half asleep "sculpted" a dream like picture of my bedroom (I know it sounds a bit silly). I decided to give lucid dreaming another try - I did reality checks (drawing "A" on my palm and counting fingers) and started questioning "reality" (trying to find oddities from everyday situations). I had my first proper lucid dream this morning though it crashed quite quickly, because my dog woke me up.....
      It was awesome and now I am determined to have more lucid dreams.

      So yeah, that's about it.
      I love dreaming.

      Yo, congrats on first lucid dreaming experience!
      Dream like picture of bedroom don't sounds silly at all, it sounds like it was hypnagogic imagery, which is normal part of falling asleep.
      Good luck on continuing lucid dreaming!
