My Introduction!
Hey! My name is Robert. I'm a Welsh 15 year old. And I'm thoroughly looking forward to learn more about Lucid Dreaming and also about dreaming in general. I had my first Lucid dream 3 weeks ago using the FILD method, although I think it was induced in-dream and the FILD had only psychologically got me into the LD state-of-mind. I have not had any other LD's since but I would appreciate any tips and techniques to get lucid! Preferably WILD techniques.
Regards,
Dolan (Actually am Robert)
(You see what I did there? Okay... inside joke/meme)

Welcome to DV! :cloud:
I have to ask, is your username supposed to mean something or is it just a random accumulation of letters? I was having fun trying to sound it out phonetically, now i'm just curious :P

When I look at your username long enough I see a pattern that might enable one to curl it into a headband and wear it. In fact I am positive that it is one of those user names that will make more sense in a dream than in waking life, and could probably be used to meditate on, and when the letters start making sense one could use that as a reality check to become lucid. Was that the intension? Anyway, welcome to DV, yrwgabwgadrwg - and I apologize if I made a mistake, but I did not use copy and paste but rather practiced my memory skills using this very useful username - memory being a very useful skill to have for lucid dreaming.

Welcome to the forum!
Have you tried any other methods besides WILD/FILD?
MILD/DILD is a great place to start if you've not had many lucid dreams. WILD can take a little practice and isn't as exciting as it sounds.
Still, staff is here to help with advice if you need it. If you would like a tip I suggest starting here: http://www.dreamviews.com/introducti...-dreaming.html
Pleasant dreams! :)

Sorry for taking a long time coming back to you on this! Thanks for all the feedback guys! Also my username is Welsh for 'The Bad Ooga Booga' as in ooga booga from the Crash Bandicoot series of games. Pronounced Uh-rr-ooga-booga-d-rr-oo-g. 'W' is pronounced shorter than the conventional 'oo'.
