Hellooooo!
Hello everyone!
My names Jon and I'm 20 from Wales :D
I'm quite new to all of this lucid dreaming. I've been recording my dreams in my dream journal for around a month now and my recall has become quite good. It actually becomes a slight chore to have to write down so much on my ipad when I wake up but it has to be done haha!
I've been slightly disheartened recently due to the non existent lucid dreams yet, I know it's not something that will happen over night (no pun intended :p) there have been times in a dream where I've looked at numbers or words on a poster or something and it just hasn't made sense or hasn't been clear. I just haven't had that eureka moment yet.
Hopefully this will all change soon.
Anyway that's me so far, I'm glad I found this place :)
Jon

Welcome to the forum!
Recording your dreams is a great first step! Now look at all those dreams and try to find some patterns and dream signs, something you could recognize as "out-of-place" in a dream. Dream signs can be great helper tools for becoming lucid!
If you haven't already done so please check out the tutorials in our WIKI or the Intro class in the DreamViews Academy (DVA). Both are great resources for getting that lucid dream.
If you have any questions or comments please post them or PM one of the wonderful Dream Guides. They're here to help!
Pleasant dreams! :)

I did read the intro, I found it really helpful! Thank you :)
Usually there is always something out of place, but the only things that seem to re occur are a few friends but that's not on a regular basis. Also I seem to have a few dreams where I seem to be getting chased so ill try and look out for that next time.
Thanks again,
Jon

Welcome to Dreamviews :)
As for the journalling, you may choose to write down keywords when you wake up in the middle of the night, and provide the details when you finally write it all out in the morning or whenever you have time already. This also saves you from becoming too awake and not being able to get back to sleep anymore.
Anyway, if you need anything, ask away. Good luck

Welcome to Dreamviews! :cloud:
Have you tried setting some goals for yourself in your Dream Journal? I find doing that helps me out a lot.
At the beginning of each week I try to remember to set some small goals and also some larger ones for the month. A little motivation!
Good luck!
