You can. However all brainwave entrainment can really do for LDing is put your mind into a hightened state of awareness, you will need to use other techniques to actually become lucid.

I personally have never been affected at all by brainwave entrainment although I think the stereo sound on my computer is dodgy.

i havnt had much success with brainwave generators as well. sometimes it works but most of the time i just fall asleep. i do notice however, that when i have www.lucidquest.com 's free mp3 "8 minute brainstretch demo" loop while i sleep, i have great recall and vivid dreams....
