      My first ever Lucid dream

Hey, I just joined and I want to post my first lucid (that I can remember/recall) dream and see what you guys think here.

I was about eh... 6 or 7 at the time and I had a dream that I was riding in a car with my friend to his house and I was in the back and he was up front and he peeked back at me. I think his sister was also there.

The next morning, I'm thinking to myself, it'd be cool if I could realize I was in a dream! (I was only 6 or 7... never heard of lucid dreaming.). So the next night or two I made a promise to myself that I would dream again and realize it. So two nights later or so, I had the same dream, except this time I said "Wow, I am in a dream!"

It was pretty strange, but I guess with enough determination, it can happen! Nothing really happened, I didn't take any control, but I did realize I was in a dream and made note of it.

      What do you think?

That sounds like right on the line of a lucid dream, because (like so many before me have repeated) there are so many more levels beyond just realizing it's a dream.

I think that if you could realize you are in a dream at such a young age, you have incredible potential to do so when you are older.

Did I mention welcome to the forums?

Congrats on that, and keep trying for better dreams

Thanks. I wasn't even sure of my age, either - It's just an estimate.

Earlier today I was browsing another forum for a product I've bought and someone said something about dreams being uncontrollable. Another user mentioned that it was quite easy to do so. So I did a Google Search - Dream Controlling. Came across here and started reading. About every hour since then I've been doing RCs and plan on having another lucid sometime in the near future.

Actually, I just remembered. It was sometime around pre-school. He was my friend in preschool and we moved when I was in kindergarten. So I really never saw him.

      So, yeah... sometime around preschool.

Hey i just joined dream views a couple of weeks ago. Im not sure if I can remember the first lucid dream I have ever had but I can remember one that happened a couple of weeks ago. Well I have been trying to lucid dream for a long time. My father just said to keep saying to your self I am going to wake up in my dream. It didnt work. Then I found this website with friendly staff and great people. Well back to the topic the first time ( that i can remember) that i have had a lucid dream was on a friday night. I got tired and wanted to get to sleep. I was searching and found a totural on hipnossis and how to do it. It took a couple of nights no remember everything but I did. Breathing deeply counting one to onehundred and the weights all that stuff. Soon enough i was asleep with my headset on. I was listining to nickleback. And the only time i have ever had a lucid dream was that night ( and i have tried everynight) If i could get a couple of tips and some helpfull hints that would be great.
