Help!
Hello!
My name is Stephanie Wicklund, I'm 24 years old and I have been a rather active dreamer my entire life. Sometimes I get some pretty interesting dreams that I can't seem to forget.
A couple nights ago, I had a dream where I was on this almost futuristic version of Earth. (I couldn't tell if it was a possible future I was looking at.. or if it was perhaps a past, or a glimpse into another dimension.) This place, at night was so beautiful. Planets were so close and galaxies so bright in the sky. It was definitely no place I recognized, constellations were different, but yet the same. But one day on this place, my dream family and I were eating lunch and a broadcast from our government came on and said that our world was coming close to its end. That the generators sustaining the pressurized field keeping our atmosphere were faltering... and that if we could, get to our deep space vehicles before this happened.
of course me, ever so ignorant thought, 'HAH, it won't falter, what do I have to worry about? Its just a dream!' but that night, looking up at the stars and galaxies I found myself staring at earth. The earth we know. It was one of the planets near ours. And was the instructed planet to go to in a time of utter crisis. Suddenly a golden flicker went across the sky and this gold outlined hexagonal pattern started to form and deteriorate. A massive suction force started pulling the atmosphere and trees and you name it out into space. I tried to breathe and came to the quick realization that I could die. Running with my family to the hatch leading to our vehicle, we closed the door and watched the rest of our world fall away as we were jettisoned into space towards that earth planet.
I've had this dream quite a few times.. and there are others that do follow suit with it.
And I've also had dreams dealing with light and dark forces. But the strangest thing is that both sides despise me. Dark forces want to kill me off and light forces don't want anything to do with me and always expel me from their presence. When I try to communicate with the people in my dreams I often get gravely misunderstood. (I've noticed this in the waking world to) Depending on the cause I will either pit myself with the dark or light.. but most of the time dark thinks im too light, and light thinks I'm too dark..
Anyone have a thought or two for me. I have so much I want to talk about, but I've always been ridiculed for things I've thought.
thanks

Hello Wickster57!
First of all, don't get upset if people aren't very fan of your reports regarding your dream experiences: here in DV everyone has their "weirdness", which is quite encouraged, so feel free to share your experiences any time you want! :)
Your two stories seem very interesting, but don't worry if they sound "weird". Dreams cannot be controlled by us (unless you're lucid ^^), so it's just normal to witness all these events taking place. There are many theories regarding why we dream and dream content, and no one is sure of anything. Even when lucid we often encounter strange scenarios that make us react in a certain way that it truly seems we aren't lucid. But just because it's a dream doesn't mean it isn't real right :)?

Awesome! Thanks so much! I am interested to get to know everyone's weirdness too :) I like wierdness

The weirdest people are people who believe they are not weird. It's normal and desirable to be weird. :)
Ok, while there are some people on this forum who are not into dream interpretation, but I am, although I believe that ultimately only you can truly decipher your own dreams, and we can just help brainstorm but if something does not seem right, disregard.
As for your alien planet, and world ending dream:
Perhaps it is a reflection of your feeling at times like you are an alien on earth - not literally but figuratively: you feel different from those around you. The stars in your dream are different and yet kind of like the constellations here perhaps because things in your dream are not quite what they appear - a metaphorical symbolic dream perhaps? The world is ending may be a sign of stress: you could be stressing over the fact that you feel like you are not well understood, like an alien, or something else. The end of the world is nigh could be a sign that you are worried about some big change coming, something you feel you need to escape, but once you do there is no returning? You need to take a leap into a new unknown life. Given that you are 24, a lot of changes may be coming your way in your life future: a new job, a new family someday perhaps? Your future may seem to you like an alien planet at times, and yet that alien planet is Earth: the unknown and yet familiar.
I hope this helps you in some way. And even if it does not, Welcome to dreamviews, I hope you enjoy it here!

Hi Joanna :)
Thanks for the reply. It really did help and it does make sense to me. I do understand that the only person who can truly understand the meaning ofy dreams is myself, but it does help to have an outside aid in brainstorming. And I thank you for that :)
I do feel like an outsider a lot. I am often gravely misunderstood.. I can feel people's emotions even though they don't neccesarily express them. I've been having lots of troubles with my immediate family.. a lot with my parents. They accept me, yet alientate me because my views are a bit far fetched from theirs. I was born into Pentecostal, but now I am just spiritual. I believe there are beings beyond us, guides if you will, and I believe that humans have the potential to be more powerful than they let themselves onto be.. but as far as Christianity. I have seen more dark than light from that religion so I don't want anything to do with it. And because I believe this way, it has placed stress on my life..
I live with my husband in a separate state, but yet I can sense when I am being talked about negatively by my parents or anyone else close to me.. its like I get surrounded by such a grey cloud. I try to ignore this ability.. but it bombards me without warning.
I do feel a lot of the time that my life isn't my own, that I'm just watching events unfold in first person. There are crazy times where I feel like my body and true self are a little out of sync like a bit of lag. I turn my head to the side, and it still feels like I'm turning my head. Or i move and its like a shadow effect. Strangeness lol.
