Hello & Not Sure If I had a Lucid Dream .....

      Hello,

I'm John and happy to found this open forum on Lucid Dreaming. I always have been fascinated on dreams , and attaining a more lucid level or astral projecting...Just recently, I think I have been involved in a lucid dream.

What is the definition of a true lucid dream so I can compare mine with your definition?

      Thanks,

      John

      Welcome to DreamViews, lucidguy46!

Lucid dream: a dream during which you realize that it is just a dream - even if you immediately afterwards wake up, have only limited awareness, and even if you do not have control, it still counts as a lucid dream as long as at any point in the dream you knew you were dreaming.

Once one gets better at lucid dreaming one can learn to control the dream and do pretty much anything you want to in an environment where the laws of physics and such do not apply.

Pretty much sums up exactly what I was going to say! There you go, she has it pretty much all right there.

Hi John, welcome to DreamViews! JoannaB is correct Check out http://www.dreamviews.com/introducti...-dreaming.html for basic information as well as some useful links around the forum. Also, http://www.dreamviews.com/beyond-dreaming/ for astral projection-related stuff.

If you need anything, ask away! Seeya

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
