Re-introduction
Hello Dreamviews:
I doubt many (if any) will remember me. I was a somewhat active member 6-7 years ago, but had to sacrifice time in the dreamworld for time in the real world. With my experience at university coming to a close, I finally find myself with some extra time, and really want to get involved with LD again. My LD skills have completely deteriorated, so I really look forward to (re)learning from all the new (and old) members on here. Looking at my profile, my last thread was posted almost six years ago, so obviously i'm VERY out of the loop as far as LD is concerned. DV has always been a welcoming community, and I am excited to get involved with whatever I can. Thanks for taking the time for read this, and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Welcome back! Now that you've already learned about lucid dreaming and know how to do it, it should be easier for you to re-learn it.

That's what i'm hoping. The recall is coming back really fast already, but the lucidity is coming back quite a bit slower. One week in and I've gone from 0 dreams a night to 2-3 on average. Problem is I've had no feelings of lucidity. Just blindly observing the dreamscape.

Welcome back! i hope that your lucidity will return faster than mine. I returned to the hobby after about 20 years, and now have been at it since February with only one successful LD thus far and several really close calls. One lesson I learned is that techniques that work for me have changed: when I was LDing 20 years ago I used to only DILD whereas now my only successful LD thus far has been a WILD, and I am discovering that some other stuff also seems different - I have changed quite a lot, and that has an impact. However, I am greatly enjoying relearning stuff, and since I already know a lot about LD and methods I am now expanding in new directions too. Now you may find that your comeback is much quicker than mine, especially since while I have been focusing on it to some extent every day but I am too busy to commit to it as much as I wish I could. However, since I am enjoying the process, I do not mind. I look forward to getting to know you, Miskingo!

Welcome back! It's always nice to see old members returning to DV, because let's face it, it's where they belong :D:D
Good to see that your recall is improving at quite some speed, and I'm sure that you just need a few weeks to get back to your old lucid frequency. Or maybe it will take some more time, but if you're focused like you seem to be, it's likely that it will take less time than expected ^^ See you around :)
