      Hi from France !

I'm Lawrens from France and I'm glad to find this great site !

I love dreaming and have a pretty good dream recall (I started a written dream journal a few weeks ago).
Didn't have any lucid dream yet, but I don't stress about it, because I've all the time in the world !

I will study some tutorials here and read posts... which is a lot !

Hope to talk with you soon !

      Hey lawrens

Not stressing is very good indeed, keep the positivity and persistence and you will have lucids soon!

If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thank you for the warm welcome ^^

I must say that I don't understand why my dream recall is diminishing these times, despite my keeping of a written dream journal !
I hope it will return soon, because if not, I don't see how I can reach even the lowest stage of lucidity...

      But I don't stress !
It's just that reading other people lucid adventures, I feel really excited and I think that might be a major experience.

Don't worry, dream recall fluctuates. Since you just started, just think of it as an initial phase where your body and mind are still trying to adjust to your new routines. What is important is that you keep your intentions up, as well as a cheerful spirit, and your subconscious will realize more and more that dreams are important and that you want to achieve lucidity, and in turn, help you get lucid quicker. Cheers!

Thank you paigeyemps for the advice.

In fact I didn't really pick up a technique to try and induce LD.
I'm reading people experience, tutorials, etc... but, as a total beginner it seems very complex to me !
I wouldn't even know where to start ?

Also, it appears that a given technique is really a personal matter, as I can see a lot of people adapting methods to their own experience.
So, I wonder if there is a general method to learn ?
Should I pick one and try it for a while ?
In this case, which one to choose ?

Well, all this is really incredible and I can't wait to experience LD (though I stay very zen about it lol !)

Indeed it is! It's important to understand that you don't adjust yourself to perfect a technique. Instead you adjust the technique and make it your own. That way, it suits you perfectly and you won't rely on what other say you should or should not experience.

As for the method, take your pick: Induction Methods and Techniques

Try to read through them and see which suits your lifestyle best, one where you won't have to stay up late or compromise your waking life, because remember, this is going to be a routine for you too, so it better be comfortable for you :3

Since you have natural recall, I would say it would be best to work on a MILD and DILD. Mild techniques pair with just about anything, and DILD is good for people with great recall. The more dreams you have, the more chances you'll get for a lucid!

Thank you Auron, this will be helpful.

Yes I've pretty good dream recall (at least when I recall them, i.e 4/5 days a week). Recently I experimented smell recall, which was a great experience !
Lately dreams seem to evaporate as soon as I awake, hence my questioning .

Continue to not stress about it, and check out the MILD tutorial. I have found that the exercises posted by Zoth for MILDs are and excelent way to increase dream recall, and help to acheive lucidity.

Good Luck, and Welcome (even if I am newer than you to the site.)

Thank you BlueBenuofIsis, and welcome to you to !
You're newer than me but have already more posts than me lol !

I guess it's that because there's so much to read and learn out there...

My dream recall has return since I posted, and now I'm doing MILD every night (following Naiya's advice).
