      Hey, dreamers!

Hey, I'm CherryBomb and I just found out about lucid dreaming a few weeks ago. It's very interesting and I'm glad to find a website where people are interested in this sort of stuff like I am! I've been to all sorts of websites, and one of the things I've done is creating a dream journal (although the first week I had nothing, but now I'm starting to get some recall. It's not good recall, so if you have any tips for increasing my recall, can you please give me some?).

I've been doing some reality checks too, and I found an ADA (All Day Awareness) forum today, which is very helpful. I just hope to have a lucid dream soon, because they sound like a lot of fun! <:

Hello CherryBomb and welcome to Dreamviews!

This is the place to find tutorials, tips, and help on lucid dreaming. It sounds like you are off to a good start with your reading and new practices. Keep up your interest and focus on your goals - the first lucid dream is never predictable, but certainly worth the effort.

Making a daily habit of the dream journal is the first and best habit. As you start to recognize themes in your dreams, you will learn to ask yourself things like "did I have a public transportation dream?" (something I have almost nightly) to coax out more and more. Also, budget for the time to write them down when you wake up. Almost everyone has something they can get anxious about and rush to when they wake up - take the extra few minutes to do your dreams justice.

Learning to lucid dream since 2012.

      Hey CherryBomb!

Glad you found us, it's indeed really nice (and a surprise to me I must say) that these communities existed around the concept of lucid dreaming. Regarding your dream journal, try taking a look at our Dream Recall compendium, it lists a huge deal of information which you'll find helpful. General rule: good amount of sleep, focus on your intent, and keep the habit rolling!
