      Smile Hello my friends

I am fairly new to Lucid Dreaming and I personally find it difficult the first time (period of time not one time) I attempted it. But I play sports so I get tired fast, and think that could affect it and maybe me being a little overwieght, but anyways, hello and I am hoping to get to know you all!

      Hello and welcome, MagicMan1ac.

Lucid dreaming is like any skill and takes time to develop and improve. Practice the techniques discussed on this site and you will see progress over time. Weight shouldn't be an issue. Sports, if anything, should help - I find I have more dreams when I sleep soundly after a day of exercise.

Learning to lucid dream since 2012.

      Hey there! Welcome to DreamViews

I agree with RedNaxela. As long as you try to keep a decent sleep schedule and try to be into the right mindset for lucidity, you can get lucid. Of course, dream journalling always helps not just to boost your recall, but also as a way to evaluate your attempts and be more familiar with how your dreams work.

If you need anything, feel free to post or send a PM. Cheers~

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Hello Magicman1ac!

Apart from the excellent advice given above, remember that regular exercise (like sports) is extremely healthy for your sleep. In fact, everyone should make regular exercise if they want to increase their lucidity chances: it's a guaranteed increase in the quality of your sleep!

Good to have you here, and have fun around
