      starting lucid dreaming journal

      Hi

I have been having Lucid dreams since I was about 10 years old. Before I herd of the concept I was always trying to be aware in my dream, so I have always thought of it. Have tried some techniques with some success in relation to reality checking but for the most part the majority of my lucid dreams happen spontaneously.

One thing I haven't tried yet is writing a journal. So I'm thinking I should create one which may help with getting the most out of it. It's good to have a site that supports Lucid dreaming so I'm happy to be here.

      Regards

      Hello scott2013

Seems you got the hang of lucid dreaming pretty early huh? Bet you have many interesting experiences to share ^^ Some people just seem to have an easier time inducing lucidity without effort, but as to why this is, no one is sure.

Yep, a dream journal is a powerful tool for lucid dreaming. Not just because you get a much keener sense of your dream world, but because you can identify elements that are constant on it, and using them as cues to give you lucidity...aka, dream signs! Here in Dreamviews we love to discuss and share dreams around, especially if they are lucid Have fun around

      Hey Zoth

I still have them pretty rarely, not as much as I would like, also when I'm lucid I'm not always thinking in the most logical way even though still aware I often awaken from the dream thinking, why didn't I just do 'this' or 'that' and realize some things I should have done instead if you know what I mean.

It also appears some abilities like flying vary. In some dreams I can fly fine. Others I have to improvise, like recently I found it very hard to get off the ground, and I had to try and make like a jet back pack like a rocketthing to give me some lift, but even that didn't fully give enough lift to fly properly. Some times no matter what you do some things just don't work.

      thanks for the welcome.
