Hello, just stumbled in!

I hope I am in the right place! I don't know anything about lucid dreaming on purpose, I will have to read about it.
I am here because I have very lucid dreams all the time NOT on purpose and I can't stop thinking about them, they confuse me. They are often violent with lots of blood! I often die in the dream. I have been told that blood is lucky and I should go buy a lottery ticket by one friend. Someone else tells me that it is good luck to die in a dream!! I don't feel very lucky though.

I am a nice girl in real life. I love animals and have many pets. I am very friendly and work as a musician bringing happiness to lots of people. I worry about money and my family and if I will ever "make it" as a musician. I am very sensitive and cry easily. I don't get the deal with all these violent dreams.

I have lots that I would like to share right now!

Yes, you are exactly in the right place! Dreamviews is the biggest lucid dreaming community in the world, so for sure you'll find yourself comfortable here ^^ Ahahah, that's a quite positive interpretation of dream themes, but why not to ask the dream itself when you become lucid :)?

Ueniki, when you say that you have lucid dreams do you mean that you know they are dreams while you are dreaming? (That's what the term "lucid" means on this site.) Or do you mean vivid dreams with lots of detail? If the later, that would be vivid dreams but not lucid. A lot of newcomers confuse the two terms. If you do not, then I appologize for assuming that you might have. Welcome to DreamViews!

Well, I have a lot of really really vivid dreams, but then I often hit a point about 3/4 of the way through when I kind of realize that I can control what is happening, I realize that it is my dream. Is that what lucid dreaming is?

When you realize that you are dreaming, then that is a lucid dream, yes. :)
