A place where I can talk about lucid dreams :D
Hello,
Since I don't know anyone I know who experience lucid dreaming and talks about it like I do, I searched for a forum to share my experiences to people who have lucid dreams too and found this :)
First, I had my first lucid dream when I was about 11 years old, (now 24), and after that, I have been experiencing it since then. Sometimes frequently like many times a month and after that, it will be gone for months or sometimes years when I'm busy with other things such as school. I really like dreaming where I can see and sometimes feel things which is non-existent such as flying. After I woke up in my earlier years, I stay still for a while just to remember what I dreamt and I think that's how I think I taught myself to be lucid.
In my high school years, I've had lots of LD until reality hits my face at the start of college and beyond where I started to worry about my future and my LD occurences decreased, like no LD for about 2 years and rarely. And until this year where it's frequent again, (experiencing it for 3 days in a row or sometimes several a month).. I just learned that lucid dreaming has many practices to attain like WILD or MILD last year and that sleep paralysis is perfectly normal. When I still don't know it, I've had many sleep paralysis back then and I try to wake up when I experience that because I'm afraid that I'll die on that but now when I understand what it really does, I just let it and voila, instant lucid dream.
Now that I'm fully aware of this cool phenomena, I have been lucid dreaming like its normal to me and when I'm not busy in real life, however, I can't really control it yet. I always wake up when I feel excited and I sometimes can't control my dreams that's why I'm searching the net on how to improve this skill..
I'll try to share my experiences and thoughts from time to time for additional information on this forum so again, hello :)
