      Greetings.

      Hello everyone. I am new here and just wanted to drop in and say hello. Up until today I didn't even know what a lucid dream was, and quite frankly, I still don't know if I know. I found this site by mistake and perhaps am in the wrong place.

      Last night I had a very disturbing dream and wanted to see what it meant, or at least, opinions on what it meant. I have cruised several websites and my wife even bought a book yesterday (prior to my dream...weird I know) about dreams and they all say different things. Although, each may be close to what it means but in different areas. If that makes sense?

      Anyway, I will cruise around the forum a little and just lurk here until I know if I am in the right area or not and if it's even a question that should even be asked on this forum.

      Lucid dreaming is simply being aware of the fact that you are dreaming, while still in a dream. It doesn't equal control or meaningful dreams, but it can equal control with practice. Some of the things you can do is:
      fly
      coitus
      talk to subconscious (if you are "in to that kind of thing")
      Fight
