Hey Dreamers,
Hey dreamers, I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Connor, but Cryo works too. I'm 20 years old and currently in love with skydiving. I've been skydiving for almost three years now and the happiest I've ever been is every time I'm in the air.
I've been working on Lucid Dreaming for only a few weeks as of now. I'm reading several books as well as reading many online testimonies and advice pieces. I've been adamantly keeping my dream journal up to date and am able to recall several dreams per night. Usually around three or four in great detail. I've yet to be able to realize I am dreaming and become lucid, however, I'm in no rush and I want to let the process happen as naturally as possible. My dreams are becoming more and more vivid and lifelike, so hopefully with MILD and RCILD I'll be able to achieve lucidity. I'm planning on saving WILD for when I'm comfortable in the lucid state.
What draws me to Lucidity in dreams isn't really the external abilities such as flying or sex with anyone. I'm incredibly interested in using my dreams as a tool for self growth and forming a greater understanding of life and the universe. Conversations with my dream characters are my current goal for when I achieve lucidity.
I look forward to posting here and getting to know the community. Cheers for reading the wall of text if you find yourself here :)
Dream well

Hey Cryo, welcome to dreamviews.
That's epic man, skydiving sounds so cool, I'd love to try it.
You've got good aspirations, but let me tell you that you will eventually use your lucids for some personal fun...And the moment you do you will be amazed. I'm certain that a lucid dream can come close to a skydive in terms of adrenalin rush.
Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll love the lucid dreams, just don't count out a bit of fun in them every now and then ;)

Your plan sounds good. It is better to start with MILD/DILD (I assume your RCILD is this).
If you up to it, check out our Dreamviews recommended intuction techniques Induction Methods and Techniques
And here are some usefull links and stuff Welcome

Thanks Dutch, I'll definitely take that advice. I definitely have not written off all of the external wonders and creative opportunities that Lucid Dreaming has to offer. I'm an artist in waking life so I know I'll have some fun creating in the dream state, but what an incredible thing it is to be able to travel into your mind and talk with your subconscious. Confront your psyche and learn the innermost aspects of who you are. The healing and growth potential alone is staggering.
Gab, thank you for the links. The threads on MILD were full of information. I'll be sure to ask for any help should I find I need it. Thanks again

LDing is amazing! And skydiving. I have only done it once in waking, but I do it a lot in LDs out of cars without a parachute. Sometimes stop, sometimes hit the ground. :F it is awesome.
good luck LDing. If you have any questions, you can ask Me, Dutch, or gab. :D
