Hello
I'm Ivy, 16 and new to lucid dreaming. I found out about lucid dreams a while ago, and even though I'm busy with school, I still want to try it out :D
I've technically been keeping a dream journal on my iPod for a while now, but I've been lazy about it lately. Hopefully this forum can keep me motivated :) Especially since I'm fairly impatient about things, haha.
(oh cool, some terms automatically link to the wiki)

Hello, Ivy! :D Welcome to DV! Sometimes I get lazy with my dream journal too, I know the feeling! :P But the forum can definitely keep you more motivated, there's always the chance that someone will read your DJ entries... ;)

rather keep a paper dream journal :) technology has got deep enough into our souls already :/

That's a good point... :P
I do encourage you to start a workbook, though, even if it's also on paper and just for you. Having everything written down, all the techniques you've tried, details about your sleeping patterns, etc. can be really helpful... and it also keeps you more motivated than usual! :)

I use my ipod because I have really bad eyesight and it's easier for me to type on it than to turn on the light and scramble around for glasses/pen/paper. I've gotten quite used to writing everything down on my iPod, but that's just my personal opinion. Reading guides and posts about lucid dreaming is helping a lot, though :)
