Searching for answers
I posted this in the general lucid dream forum but I figured I'd try posting it here as well.
"So, I figure this the best place to just let it all hang out… By that I mean my confusion on something that has been going on for the majority of my life.
Every year, about this time, I start having these intense dreams. Now, these aren’t normal dreams, more like nightmares.
I have been having them for as long as I can remember which, goes back to at least 4-years-old.
Last night, after falling asleep, I find myself in a house with two other people, their identity I couldn’t tell you who they are but, I felt like I’ve known them my whole life.
Keeping the details to a minimum, because I only remember spurts.
What I do remember is a demon three dolls and feeling like my entire body is experiencing electrical pulses at least two separate occasions this is all happening while my semi-conscious self is fully aware that I am laying in my bed, in my actual house, yet before I awake I am in an attic having a full fledged conversation with a demon and two others with these three dolls illustrating how each of us view this demon’s physical appearance.
Writing this down or even saying it out loud makes me feel crazy. I just find it weird and I figure a blog is the best place to vent this and maybe someone who has the ability to answer what this experience is will respond.
Otherwise, I’ll probably just continue on as normal. At this point in my life this is going on about 20+ years of experiencing these dreams and sensations. So, it’s nothing new I actually worry about the answers I may get. Somethings are better left not knowing."

Hello and welcome to Dreamviews! :welcome:
Dreams can be weird sometimes but remember that they can"t hurt you, and you can practice lucid dreaming to get rid of nightmares by confronting/talking to them or fighting them. :)

Hi and welcome to DV! :)
Nightmares can be quite bothersome but with some practice and autosuggestion you can learn to deal with them. For one thing with lds you slowly learn to control your emotions and even turn nasty dream characters into more appealing figures. You can also train yourself to refuse to be afraid simply by repeating it over and over.
By the way we have a podcast that deals with hostile dreamwolds among other topics. Know that you are not alone with this problem, people have dealt with it and and transformed their dreams and so can you!
