Hello
Hello to fellow dreamers . My story is I have always had occassional lucid dreams but never realised there were any techniques to induce and prolong them till I started reading about it on the web . Anyway about a year ago I started keeping a dream journal and doing the reality checks etc and found I was going lucid about once a week . But the problem was I was having so much writing to do each morning , having so much detailed dream recall that I got fed up and abandoned my journal . So I found I stopped going lucid and now I really miss it . I think it is the most amazing intense experience and I am determined to start again so I restarted my dream recording a couple of nights ago and hope soon to have some great lucid experiences again .Best luck to you all it is a great thing to share such a wonderful exploration.

Welcome to Dream Views, Florian!
I think it should be no problem for you to start lucid dreaming again as you already have that much experience on the subject. It just needs you to make yourself write into your journal every morning. I'm actually having the same problem at the moment too. I wish there was an easier way of keeping a dream journal :-P
Good luck to you!

Hey! Welcome to the Forum!!
If you want to try at LDing again, like Hate says, keep a DJ, but try to RC alot, too!

Hello nesgirl and Hate , Thanks for the encouraging messages .
One thing I have noticed since I resumed my journal is that while I have been 'away' my dreams have become unfocussed and lacking direction it is as if the 'scriptwriters' became disheartened at my lack of interest .Now I am recording , examining the dream-content critically again somehow the raw dreams are turning into finished creations they seem to be picking up energy and richness .
Another surprise seems to be the presence of forces within the dream which try to preserve an element of secrecy .In one lucid dream I was even questioned by some kind of dream para-medics who demanded to know why I was conscious in my dream and how awake I was . When I told them I was '82% awake' they strapped me to a stretcher and carried my downstairs to an underground area like a carpark .As I descended to a lower level I also lost lucidity . It seems 'they' did not allow people to remain aware and were determined to drag me back down to unconsciousness.

Don't keep a DJ, he will play loud music and scratch your cds, keep you awake at night ect.
nah j/k. Welcome to the forum. my initials are DJ. I would help your dreaming if you listen to me.
When you dreamed about the guys looking at you and taking you back to a non lucid state, You dreamt the entire story up. I know that may sound obvious. but it is a good first thing to know. There was no force doing anything, you made yourself do that within creating the conflict. through you creative thinking.
Plant other thoughts in your mind and continue to influence your dreams with experience into what you want to happen and your dreams will start changing the way you want them too.Good luck.
