Hey, Panda here.
I've always found dreaming to be a lot of fun, whether is be having great dreams or scary nightmares, they're always interesting.
2 nights ago, I stumbled across the concept of Lucid Dreaming, which I found very interesting. After doing some research, I've been performing constant reality checks throughout the day, and trying to prepare myself mentally for being able to be conscious in a dream.
Night 1 was uneventful, but Night 2 was interesting. In my dream, I was a large, white tiger. I had been informed of the existence of a boy, and was pondering whether to kill him, or save him, as I looked down at my paw. All of a sudden, the reality checks kicked in, and I realised I didn't normally have paws. At that moment I knew I was in a dream, and remembered to keep calm, and admire my surroundings. I didn't move any where (which might have been my mistake), and I remained focused on my paw, but I did spend some time touching the grass before drifting back into consciousness.
Is this a positive sign? Does the fact that I was a white tiger have any significance? Is there anything I should be doing to improve my lucid dreaming abilities?
Thanks heaps, I look forward to reading what you have to say! :D

Congratulations on your first lucid dream! When you realized that you don't usually have paws and must be dreaming, you became lucid. First lucid dreams are often very short and not much happens, but if you keep up the practice, you are likely to have longer lucid dreams soon. :) keep up the good effort!
As for what you being a tiger means? I am not sure. Tigers are predators. White tigers are more rare. What does a tiger mean to you personally, any special meaning for you? Have you been hunting anything lately - for example job hunt or shopping for something or trying to catch a hot date? If not, then no clue. It could of course be that you for example saw a tiger on TV, or maybe you heard that in dreams you can be anything you like and your mind decided to try being a tiger - it could actually be that your mind decided that all those reality checks were making you like a tiger hunting down dreams - lol.
Welcome to DV, Panda! (Oh, come to think of it, since you call yourself Panda, I assume you like animals, so maybe that's all this dream was about - enjoying a tiger.)
