Hello
Hello all. I just registered. Nice to find this forum, it looks most excellent! I have projnostic dreams, spiritual dreams, and just various sorts of weird dreams. I can usually figure them out, but sometimes I totally stumped. I hope I can learn from others here and will be glad to help in any way I can. I do keep a journal.

Hi Minervajane :)
I was curious, what are projnostic dreams? I've never heard of them. I know I could do a simple google search, but I figure i'd ask for the sake of discussion.

Prognostic (I spelled it wrong!) just means knowing something beforehand. sometimes i dream about little insignificant things that I see or that happen the very next day. Sometimes larger things, like once I dreamed about a tornado. First thing the next morning I turned on the computer and the first news item was a tornado that had taken place that night morning. When my stepmother died, she came in my dearms as a child who told me that she was dying. She died the next day. Lots of different variations on that kind of thing :)

Hello, minervajane and welcome! What you call prognostic dreams some people call that precognitive dreams, and the subforum where we discuss those is Beyond Dreaming. Also it sounds like for some of the weird dreams that you cannot understand, you may be interested in posting in this section of the forum as well: Dream Interpretation
Most of this site is geared toward people interested in lucid dreaming, becoming aware in dreams and controlling dreams while knowing they are dreams. However, some of us are interested in understanding nonlucid dreams better, and of course the two do not need to be mutually exclusive, so if you want to check out how to recognize dreams as dreams in addition to understanding subconscious symbolic dreams better, I think that is a good approach - but then again, I may be biased in an open minded sort of way. :)
