Hi, Im new to the site. And been wanting to Lucid Dream for literally Months!

Obviously it shows it all in the Title.
I am new to the site and have been wanting to Lucid Dream for months.
I have a few Q's to ask.
Do I really have to have a Dream journal?
Ive been researching for I dont know how long!
It all started maybe a few months ago. I was randomly searching the Interwebs(internet...I dont know why's I said Interwebs) and I came across something...I honestly dont know what the hell I searched, but came across something obviously related to Lucid Dreaming. Then I be came obsessed with the Idea of Lucid Dreaming. Anyways back on task. My recalling dreams suck, and has no time for a journal.
Is there any possible way to Lucid Dream without having to have one.
Well that's about all I wanted to say, because im tired and am punching little tiny keys on a phone.
And dont let the name fool you. Im a Guy. And im 15 years old.

I'm kinda surprised to hear that you don't want to have a dream journal. See, lucid dreaming is part of dreaming. If you love one, you normally love the other too. And you don't just love having them, but also the preparation and doing everything towards your first lucid dream.

That probably also answers your question why you don't have dream recall. Well, if you don't care about your dreams and you don't put any effort into recalling them, that's why you don't remember them.

You can't just start throwing perfect curveballs without practicing throws, driving to practice, and enjoing it too.

Same with dream recall and lucid dreaming. You get out of it, what you put into it. Your mental state is one of the most important parts of lucid dreaming. Being excited about the prospect, being excited about practicing, reading, trying our new fun RCs, daydreaming about it, appreciate every step of the way and being thankfull for every experience and progress you make.

Lucid dreaming is not something you can do just mechanically. It's more of an art. A very cool art, if I may add. Worth doing all the practice for.

Dream journal - helps with more than just getting your recall on track. So yes, it is important to have one.
