Hello
Just wanted to introduce myself :) I am really new to lucid dreaming. I have had a handful of experiences in my life( I am 23 by the way) but they were always realized while I was already asleep and I couldn't control them. Also it was like once I knew I was dreaming a sense of dread and urgency flooded me( sorry hard to explain). Anyways recently I have been trying wild with no success. I can see imagery popping up(sometimes it is crystal clear) and I hear whispers or ringing( its different each time). But something eventually wakes me up( usually a twitch I can't control) I have only been doing wilds for a week, so really what was I expecting. So sorry for the rant but it's nice to be able to talk to others who share this interest, the people I talk to don't understand and kind of think its pointless. Thanks if you read this, can't wait to see what this site has to offer!

Hey, welcome to DV! :)
I think you are having good progress with wilding, it does take a while to get things right. Just remember to be as calm and relaxed as possible to allow yourself to fall asleep.
Here's a link to the most popular ld techs and also to a very good class in wilding we have here:
