Hello everybody :)
Hi everybody,
My name is jack and I stumbled across this site as I have insomnia. I recently lost my cocker spaniel to cancer. Xmas Eve to be precise, I also had an epileptic seizure the day before. My Xmas has been awful and has left me very depressed and I have just started getting insomnia.
The reason I have joined this forum and not some depression forum is because I have a vivid imagination that Might help me lucid dream? I just want to spend time with my dog again. My friend recommended lucid dreaming to me as he does it a lot and that I should start keeping a dream diary which I have started to do.
LD is something I'm very interested in and I look forward to talking to other members about it. Hopefully it could help with my epilepsy, who knows? :)
Thanks for reading
Jack :)

Hello Jack! Welcome to Dreamviews!
Sorry about what happened. I have a cocker spaniel to. A light brown one. Trust me, I have lost pets a lot in the past, but, surprisingly, it is quite easy to overcome.
Lucid Dreaming is awesome in a million ways, and great for living a goodbye moment with your dog, but it may take time. I know how useful LDing is to meet people not existing presently(I have the same goal), and that is a great motivation. Trust me, this will be very rewarding for you.
Good Luck! If you need anything, just ask or create a new thread about the question or issue.
I'm sure you are going to fit in perfectly in our big happy family

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear you're down on your luck, but lucid dreams have always given me a feeling of euphoria (Overwhelming happiness). If you are interested in lucid dreaming, Dream Journaling is a great way to start it off. Keep that up! But along with this, you'll want to try an actual induction method. There are tons of them here on this site, Here is probably the greatest link: An Overview of all Lucid Induction Methods - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
Well, Good luck to you.
