my first try with wild
hey my name is frank i made my first attempt with wake induced lucid dreaming last night...i got home from my girlfriends at 12 and knew that i had to sleep 5 or 6 hours and wake up and begin the steps of wild but i was really tired and i thought i could atleast attempt a transition...i lie down and closed my eyes and started daydreaming and before i knew it i was stuck in the position i lie down in..it was that permenent i could have moved if i tryed but i just lay their and tryed to get more relaxed..i was having a couple weird images benith my eyelids and then i drifted out of the thought of becoming reaxed and when i came back the stuck feeling quadropeld...and i started getting vibrations throught my body...the sensation since it was new to me made me want to smile but i held back...but after i got into this state i dint get anywhere else or at least i think...is it possible that i lost consciousness and had a regular dream because i remember having a dream...or is it possible that i had a lucid dream and just dint remember...when i do have my first lusid dream through wild will i remember it? then i woke up at 430 and rememberd the vibrations and looked at this website at a toutorial that ive been looking at for the last couple of days...i gave it another try but dont remember the results probly lost consciousness...when i woke up at 8 i gave it another try for the heck of it...but when i got into the stuck state i gave up and when i came out of it it felt like i had fallen totally asleep but i rememberd everything that happend and i looked at the clock and it was only 810...is that how a lucid dream will be?...but my main question is can someone tell me in detail from the vibrations where i go from there? and if it was a good first try at wake induced lucid dreaming? thanks allot for anyones help

Congrats on getting that far into WILD, and welcome to the forum!
You DIDN'T have a lucid dream, if you did, you would've been completly conscoius, and would of had remembered it all. You simply fell asleep :( The vibrations you felt are essential. I know what you mean, you have this feeling that you only sometimes are able to recall in life, and bam it happens right there, and you're conscious, feels great :)..
The images you saw under your eyelids were called HI, you usually get them after your body goes 'numb' I dont want to say sleep paralysis because I know what you mean, your body feels heavy and you can move it if you want to.. thus NUMB! :D
If you would of had stayed conscious past those images in your eyes (I get little flashing dots usually) you would have eventaully entered your dream. :)
It's odd though, that you didn't go through the spinning around in mid air stage.. I thought everyone had to go through that
So basically:
1. numbness
2. sensations
3. spinning in midair (optional)
4. HI (lights)
5. Dream
Somtimes after the spinning in midair, you open your eyes, and you have a FA (false awakening) where you're lucid, but it looks like you just woke up.. best to do reality checks at this point :P
Hope that helps, good luck :D
