      Cool Dream Yogi in Training

      Hi Guys!

Finally signed up for the forum... been meaning to for a while.

I'm a fairly knowledgable practitioner of Dzogchen so I practice Dream Yoga every night. I'm excited to participate in this forum, as I've had some amazing, life-altering dream experiences (both lucid and non) and would love to share techniques, experiences, and encouragements with like minds! (I work in the music industry... so I'm not particularly surrounded by a whole ton of oneironauts and consciousness-explorers, lol )

Recently got a huge shipment of Silene Capensis and Calea Z too, so looking forward to reading experiences on those and sharing my own.

      Awesome. See you around!

Awesome I'd love to hear more about dream yoga and Silene Capensis. I've tried Silene Capensis before but with no success, I probably should have stopped eating meat for a week before trying it as I hear that Beef in particular can affect the way Silene Capensis works. See you around!

We're all glad you've joined the site! Can't wait to hear of your experiences, for I've yet to take up Dream Yoga.

Do post results on the Silene Capensis and Calea Z - I'm interested in dream supplements, and would love to hear what effects they have on your dreams.

Oh, i share some interests with you, regarding Dzogchen and Dream Yoga ! I really enjoy Dzogchen literature and Tibetan Buddhist literature in general, even if i am not following or believing every precept. It´s unbelievable beautiful how some spiritual traditions like this can be so engaging in so many ways, even for those who don´t search for faith.

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

The wings badge is for completing Task of the Month Basic (this thread). The other achievements are a part of the forum service - you can view all of them on this page.

Don't get too excited, you might destabilize!

Totally agree. I love Tibetan philosophy because it's just a really compelling science of mind and consciousness. I find it takes a very utilitarian view of the precepts: they're basically rules for you to follow if you need help to stay on a path, but at the end of the day, what really matters is that you're trying to figure out the nature of mind. So, whatever doesn't help you do that, throw it out!

      DreamscapeGoat - Sweet! Thank you

Finding my dream guide. I believe it is a plant, which is odd...but I've always loved nature.

It may be something related, like mother nature maybe? dream guides are nice tricks for ream control, and they are simple. I would go to my friend(which is a natural LD IRL) and tell him to assist me, but he has failed me!
Really, the best thing for dream control is self-awareness, but it takes time to build.

      Welcome to Dreamviews, sunyata! Welcome

      Glad you decided to register.

We have a few people here that are also interested in dream yoga. You can find more about it in Beyond dreaming, and also in sivason's class of Dream yoga in our DV Academy DV Academy

If I remeber right, that's the Tibetan version you practicing, right? It is interesting to me not only as something that helps with LDs, but also the idea of staying aware at the time of moving to the afterlife.

And if you interested in supplements, you may wanna check out Lucid aids section. Lucid Aids

Looking forward to your post and experiences. Happy travels

      Welcome to Dreamviews Sunyata.

So you practice Dream Yoga? That is really interesting. I practice qi-gong myself. I'm curious to see your posts, maybe we can discuss our outlooks and experiences through our practices in the future.
