Hello! New Member here!
Hello all,
I just signed up with the board, obviously. Here is my customary new member post.
I've been lucid dreaming since I first tried it when I was 17. It took me about a month of hard work to induce my first lucid dream, although I had some non-induced ones a few fleeting times before. I'm glad I didn't have a job at the time because I doubt I would have been very successful! I basically had to take numerous naps throughout the day, with a brief sort of self-hypnosis session each time. In addition to this I would do reality testing with a timer every hour, look at my hands, etc. It eventually worked! Since then I've been able to "go lucid" without too much prompting in my daily life, although there's been a few years where I didn't bother much with it due to things going on in my life. I have been diving back into it since a year ago, though!
I hope this wasn't too long. Thanks for reading!
