Hi
Lucid dreaming, meditation, and visualization have always been an interest of mine. Although I am interested in it, I am getting increasingly frustrated as I have never had a lucid dream or decent meditation regardless of how hard I try. Also, binaural beats don't work (listened to them for about 40 minutes and didn't feel relaxed at all).
I would sincerely appreciate any help I can get.

Welcome to DreamViews MyKyta!
I'm not much of a meditator myself (I end up just passing out lol), but I know some stuff about lucid dreaming. Here's a couple links that I recommend for beginners:
-Induction Methods and Techniques (namely DILD and MILD)
-Current Courses (DILD or Intro Class)
Also, just starting a dream journal will help with recall, which is a good step toward achieving lucidity.

Hi OpheliaBlue, thanks for your advice. Speaking about "dream journal", I have been noticing something a bit interesting that I have experienced the last 2 days that I forgot to mention. Sometimes, when I listen to binaural beats, images from the dream I had the night before will just show up outta nowhere, even when I had completely forgotten about them that day. Is that supposed to happen?

You know, I don't listen to binaural beat so I'm not sure. But it stands to reason that all manner of things can trigger dream fragments, especially if the binaural beats were associated with the dream from the night before as well. My best guess.

Sounds about right. I always turn them off before I actually fall asleep, but perhaps they had some sort of influence.
