Back at it again
Hey everyone! just wanted to say im glad i get the opportunity to connect with so many avid lucid dreamers through this fourm and share a little about myself. I've practiced lucid dreaming techniques in the past when i was trying to learn how to astral travel which i believe is just another form of lucid dreaming. ive had two lucid dreams in the past both ending very shortly after i became aware and they were both DILD's and not related to the astral travel practice which was mainly WILD attempts.
Anyway ive been journaling most of this week so far and just tried 5 htp out last night for the first time and had 4 vivid dreams. I hope to use this once in awhile in order to help train my brain to remeber dreams. I have to remember to take this in steps so i dont get discouraged from failed WILD attempts. so as of right now ill try those once in awhile but im trying to stick with RC's and DILD'S. sorry for bantering on just excited to be making some progress.
If you'd like to chat just send me a pm and ill answer them as soon as i can. Also for anyone interested im trying my first floatation tank experince today!

Hey khuna, welcome to DV! Don't get discouraged if don't get wilds straight away, just keep trying evey once in a while and refine your technique to find out what works best for you. In the meantime, working on your awarness and trying out other technique is a great plan. Good luck! :)

Yeah, I don't recommend WILDs for beginners. (Though it sounds like you have some experience.) I've only managed to WILD a handful of times, and I've been at it for three years now.
Anyways, Welcome. :welcome:

Just an update on that flotation tank I just got home from. What an amazing experience. I really feel relaxed and rejuvenated and feel like it will be beneficial to working with WILDS. I will probably go back again a few more times and see where it goes from there. Definitely recommend everyone to give it a try.
