RC reminds me of...
I have always been interested in lucid dreaming. I want to buy the Nova dreamer but I think it is really too much for a LED light mask. The movie Vanilla Sky really got me interest in this stuff and, We have all been lucid at one state and not known it until it was... "to late?" Well, This idea of constantly doing Reality checks reminds me of when I use to get high in public. I would do the same thing to make sure I was not dreaming but still conscionce (sp). Well, this obviously works and I have been doing RC's all day long. I haven't reached the actual lucid part in the dream realm yet but am really anticipating the first time. The only problem I can think of is... I haven't remembered a dream for the past month or two. So, I will continue this adventure and see where the path less followed takes me. Could some of you describe your first time being lucid? How do Reality checks differ from drug like affects in a competly sober state?
Thanks,
Metro

Hey there :)
The idea of doing constant reality checks is a pretty good one :) I have my days too, cept I think one shouldn't do a billion reality checks; but instead full everything around you as one big reality check :D Meaning, you are generally aware of what is happening and how it came to be ;) It sounds easier than it is..but I think it would seriously enhance someone's LDing progress if they were to take a little time each day to practise this general kind of awareness 8)
