Hi there! Just my introduction

Hi there!

i have finally found a forum that has my kind of interests.! Dreams, or "sleep".
My first lucid dream happend accidentally 4 years ago, since then i have always been fascinated by the "human sleep". I find it very odd that people find it the most common thing on the world that you close your eyes at night and just "pass out" for 5-9 hours... you don't know what happend, you are completely of the map and yet its the most normal thing with us humans! And i think its way more fascinating than what it seemed. I induced several times sleep paralysis with succes. I do not have a lot of lucid dreams, i might have 5 since my first one. Maybe cause i wasn't that enthusiastic at the time...

After my first lucid dream that happened accidentally i started searching on the internet and even read some books from the local library. I started a dream journal but it took me a very long time to recall my dreams. i was stubborn enough to keep the journal going with pages of failed attempts. After all these attempts i first got glimps of dreams now i write full pages with details and stories.
there you have it, that was a short story/introduction about me! :D

So here i am looking for some experiences where i can learn from and share mine!

I hope your time here at DV is enlightening; I also hope that you consider starting a thread about how you described sleep above, and why "the little death" of sleep is so taken for granted by, well, everybody.
