Hi guys i'm one of the new guys around here. Iv'e been lucid dreaming since i was fourteen though iv'e always had issues with certain things. I have a hard time getting out of bed and keeping a dream journal. I hope that this community will help me as i have a very real desire to increase the amount of LDs, my dream recall and dream control and vividness. I am very glad to be here.
Sweet Dreams,
Stintman

Welcome! Keeping a dream journal really does help. You could start out by just writing short notes instead of long essays. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have actually started a dream journal on a website called dreamboard. The thing i like about this site because it's very private so i don't have to worry about curious family member's snooping or putting it on a website for everyone to see. I hope to accomplish some goals i have such as going to skyrim and fighting alduin on the throat of the world, sexytime with a co-worker i have a crush on :shadewink:, and i also plan on trying out some of the tasks :D

Good idea for your DJ, If you'd rather it be private. Those are some nice goals, too :P Hopefully you'll be able to accomplish all that, and more!

Don't feel pressed to write down lots of details from every dream - anything you write down is worth a lot.
You could write a single word if you want to, since even this will help you recall details from the dream.
Personally, though, I find it easier to use a voice recorder, since this allows me to just grab the recorder and start talking.

Hi and welcome to DreamViews Stintman! (^o^)/
Like others have said, when you wake up jot down some quick notes and keywords about the dream. It'll help jog your memory later when you go to write it all down. Skyrim is on my to play list, I rented it and played some of it before. Definitely looks like a fun place to explore in lucid dreams.

Once again everyone thank you so much for the warm kind welcome. You guys are really awesome. I had an interesting idea, would anyone like to set up a sort of accountability system when it comes to dream Journaling? I think it would really help me and even perhaps help us all. :)
