Another Newbie
Hey Dream Views
I have been reading threads on this website for about a month now and I finally decided to create an account. :)
I do not have a long history with Lucid Dreaming, I only had one very short one and I couldn't control my actions but I'm very confident that I will have my first 'real' lucid dream very soon, thanks to the great tutorials on this site.
Also, My bed started floating through my room once when I was a kid and I couldn't stop it. I started to panic and then suddenly my bed was back to its original place. I think this could have been HI, couldn't it?
My goals for Lucid dreaming are:
March: At least one fully remembered dream per night (I already started dream journalling in Februari), and one succesful LD using WBTB (I follow KingYoshi's ADA guide)
April: At least one Lucid dream in wich I have full control
May: WILD
Sounds reasonable right? I hope so! :D
Silentium
P.S These are only goals, I know it could take a long time to get a first LD but I think setting the goals will improve my performance :)

Welcome to DV, Siletium! Goals are good to have. One thing about goals: sometimes it is good to have overly ambitious goals rather than reasonable goals because if you do not meet the overly ambitious goals you may still end up being more successful than your reasonable goals. Shooting for the stars may get you to the moon. Just a thought, however different approaches work for different people and there is no one right approach to lucid dreaming. I hope you enjoy, and I look forward to interacting with you.

Thank you :)
I honestly thought my goals were already exaggerated but if you think they're actually pretty reasonable, well, that can only be good news right?
I must say I'm looking forward to going to bed tonight already :D

Hey, welcome man! Or girl?!
A couple of months ago I had very occasional lucid dreams with some abilty, I could flew and used some pretty powerful magic a couple of times and remembered dreams almost every night but now I can't even remember dreams just some fragments a week if I'm lucky. I hope you and I will both have steep learning curves from here on. Welcome to this forum, I hope you will have a great time :)

Silentium, you are in luck! You joined just at the right time to right away join a dream competition. You get points for dreams remembered, so even if you do not get lucid, it's a great motivational help, plus it's fun. Check it out: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...read-17-a.html -- there is a link in the fist post of this thread to the previous competition to give you a sense of how it works, but if after looking at it you have any questions, just ask. I hope you decide to join. I think it could help you with your goals.
