Hello
Hello, my name is Andrew. I am kinda new to lucid dreaming, but I've been trying to have lucid dreams with the DILD technique. I really want to have lucid dreams, but it's kinda hard for me to use self-awareness and reality checks constantly with the DILD method. I keep forgetting to do them. I also have a question regarding dream journals. Is it necessary for my to record my dreams because I'm kinda new to this? Do you suggest writing dreams down in a dream journal or using a phone/computer to record them. I find it kind of hard to record my dreams at night with a notebook and pencil, so should I record my dreams with my phone? Sorry about all these questions, but I really want to have lucid dreams. :) Any other tips you could give me to help me start lucid dreaming would be awesome.
Thanks.

I personally use a android app for that - "Lucidity". It is great, gives statistics too. You can also tell it to give you reminders to do reality checks throught out the day, that might help you out with that problem too. I bet there are many like it (Free or not) with these features. You have to find out which way is best to record your dreams with for you. If you are really tired, just jot a few words down; places, events and peoples. Also, if there were any extra-ordinary things. If you need any help, just PM me. See you around :)
