been lurking, now posting!
Hello all. Been lurking awhile but now have decided to post.
I have always been a different sort of dreamer, they are odd and my recall has been good (compared to the average).
After having a really deep conversation about it with a friend I decided to put more effort into my dreams and thoughts in general. This was about 4 weeks ago. The first two weeks my recall exploded, I recalled and wrote down 18 very vivid dreams. A small number were lucid too but I did not manage dream control, just awareness. These more recent two weeks my sleep schedule has been thrown wayyyy off so I could only pull two from my memory :/
But I will be resetting soon. Previous to these four weeks I could recall 28, so that brings my total to 48 (+2 SP). I think it is not so bad, especially just starting out.
All my friends tell me my dreams are really weird. Seriously random and nonsensical things happen within them but I enjoy them and enjoy remembering them. I hold on to them like memories. lol I'm not sure what the true definition of an OBE is (real vs. within dream) but in one dream I was definitely out of my body and possessed other people's bodies. I'd love to have a real OBE....so much, it's a goal.
Also I have noticed recently that themes that would usually be a nightmare are now themes that I'm just exploring. Like the dreams are helping me get over my fears maybe. That's what it feels like in a sense. I think that is pretty cool, I really like exploring my fears and the unknown.
I'm 24, today actually, and recently started a diet to help cleanse my pineal gland. Eating a head of garlic is not easy. :lol:
