Old Member, Fresh Start
It has been about two years since I tried to reintroduce myself to DV. That didn't last long though. I began lucid dreaming to help with frequent nightmares but, unfortunately, when the nightmares slowed, I no longer found lding to be a priority. Now that I am falling in line with the mindfulness movement and especially as a psych major, lucid dreaming seems like more of a tool than ever. Not to mention, I miss the dream food. lol
Nevertheless, I am back, for now and hopefully for a good while. I restarted my dream journal a couple days ago and I have already attained lucidity, albeit for a short period of time but regardless it is progress!
I am sure that not many remember me and those that do probably remember a very different me. I have been an on again off again member since I was what, 13? lol Oh, how the time flies. I look forward to being apart of this community. I am so tired of staring at screens all day and I figured, I might as well be staring at a screen doing something productive instead of mindless Facebook scrolling so, here I am. Wish me luck!

Welcome back, it's nice to have you here. :)
It's great that you could overcome your nightmares!
Mindfulness is a very helpful practice for both waking life awareness and lucid dreaming!
Good luck with the psych study, that's one of my favourite interests.
If you're looking for a motivation boost, you might like to start a workbook in the DV Academy or get involved in one of the Lucid Challenges!
Hope to see you around. :)
